We’re a team of Wisconsin wedding photographers, and Kayla and Jacob’s day at River Club of Mequon was everything a wedding should be—joyful, personal, and packed with unforgettable moments. From start to finish, we were there to capture every detail, help things run smoothly, and be their behind-the-scenes support. Kayla said it best: “She was more than a photographer… she cared for us, got us water, fixed my dress, and did it all.”

A Wedding Meant to Be the Best Party Ever

From the very beginning, Kayla knew what she wanted: the best party she’d ever attend. She and Jacob planned a day filled with love, dancing, and their favorite people. The vibe was lighthearted, high-energy, and totally their own.

Classic Elegance with a Soft and Neutral Palette

Their wedding style blended timeless elegance with a fun, relaxed atmosphere. They chose a soft color palette of black, white, cream, and greenery. Jacob’s uncle designed all the florals—lush white blooms and greenery that paired beautifully with the River Club’s aesthetic.

Kayla looked stunning in her form-fitting gown, which made her feel confident and beautiful. We were right there to fix the bustle when it broke and make sure she looked flawless in every frame. Even their cake echoed the romantic, floral-inspired theme with a clean, classic design.

Fun Surprises & Personal Touches

This day wasn’t just elegant—it was packed with fun surprises and heartfelt details. Instead of a bouquet toss, Kayla and Jacob threw t-shirts into the crowd with their faces on them—a hilarious twist that had everyone laughing.

They also honored loved ones with a touching memorial table, set up a photo booth for candid fun, and added a “board of dancing” table—filled with board games for guests who preferred a quieter vibe. These creative touches made the night even more special and true to them.

Capturing the Day with Care

We were able to capture extra angles, efficiently photograph portraits, and assist throughout the day. We pinned boutonnières, fixed little background distractions, and delivered their full gallery quickly so they could relive every moment.

As Kayla shared in her review, “She has such an eye for detail and caught all the little ‘annoying’ things in the background to make our photos perfect. We are so thankful she was part of our day.”

Advice for Future Couples

Kayla’s advice to engaged couples? “Do NOT sweat the small stuff. The wedding is about you and your partner. Focus on what you want and make it happen.”

A Night to Remember

Their celebration at the River Club of Mequon truly was the best party ever—filled with love, laughter, and intentional, joy-filled moments. It was a day we were honored to be part of, and one they’ll remember for a lifetime.
