Meet Emilie + Matthew

Emilie and Matthew believe they have the same core values: faith, family, kindness, generosity, selflessness, and humility. Matt is kind, reserved, easy-going, and loyal. He loves music and theatre. Emilie is bubbly, independent, great with kids, thoughtful, and proud.

They met 11 years ago as high schoolers in a singing and dance group. Emilie and Matt were friends, but not close. 10 years later, they both ended up working for the troupe and reconnected. Emilie needed help creating a partner dance for the kids and asked Matthew because he is usually there for the technical stuff. This is how they grew closer!

Together Emilie and Matthew love going to shows, especially shows of the students they work with! They also love partner dancing and anything Disney! You can typically find them trying new drink lounges, hanging at the lake, or watching movies!

The Proposal

Matthew proposed at the rehearsal space for the troupe they both work for. Both Matthew and Emilie’s families spent the day decorating the place and surprised Emilie! Matthew had their families and best friends make an appearance, and that was amazing too.
