Julia and Ben’s Sheboygan Fall’s wedding had it all: soft summer tones, sentimental touches, and a whole lot of love.

A Simple and Elegant Wedding Vision

From the start, Julia and Ben envisioned a wedding that felt elegant, light, and completely centered on their love. Their goal was to create a beautiful yet effortless day surrounded by family and friends. And with the help of thoughtful planning and timeless design, they absolutely succeeded.

Color Palette and Style

To complement the season, Julia chose a soft color palette of greenery and pale pinks. These subtle, summery tones created the perfect atmosphere. The combination of gentle hues and natural textures gave everything a classic, romantic feel.

Floral Touches and Personal Details

The florals were kept simple yet stunning. Julia’s bouquet featured soft blooms, while her bridesmaids carried full hydrangeas. Even more special, all of the bouquets and boutonnieres were hand-crafted by her Maid of Honor.

To add a touch of personal charm, the couple gifted guests custom matchbooks—a fun nod to Ben’s love of cigars and classic supper clubs. Their wedding cake? Cheesecake from Simma’s Bakery in Wauwatosa, a place Julia grew up visiting with family.

Coordinated Wedding Morning Without a First Look

Because Julia and Ben chose not to do a first look, we helped coordinate separate bridal party photos before the ceremony. We made sure their paths didn’t cross while capturing individual portraits with each group. Thoughtful timeline planning and good communication kept everything on track without adding stress to the morning.

The Perfect Dress

Julia originally imagined something with lace and sleeves. However, once she tried on this gown, everything changed. It was elegant, classic, and made her feel like the most beautiful version of herself. It was the perfect choice for her timeless wedding day.

DIY Details and Reception Style

The reception space came to life with garlands and florals the couple arranged themselves. Their sweetheart table was decorated simply but beautifully—proving that even small DIY details can make a big impact. With soft lighting, hand-crafted décor, and the love of their people, the evening was filled with warmth and celebration.

Advice to Other Couples

Julia shared some thoughtful advice for other couples: “Try to enjoy the process, even though it’s really hard! At the end of the day, you’re marrying your best friend and soulmate. That’s what matters most.”
