Meghan and Kyle were wed on November 4th with a ceremony and reception at The Factory on Barclay in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Meghan describes herself as organized, goofy, playful, and competitive while Kyle is very grounded, loving, active, and sensitive.
The couple met while Meghan lived with one of Kyle’s friends from high school while completing pharmacy school. Kyle would visit Madison, Wisconsin for the occasional football game or weekend outing. Meghan moved to Milwaukee for her fourth year of pharmacy school (where Kyle lived) and reached out to him one weekend while she was on an awkward date. Meghan’s date and she went to where Kyle and his friends were, hung out throughout the night and the two started to develop a friendship. Over the next year, they became best friends which sparked the beginning of a romance.
Together the couple love to hang out with their dog, Brewer, and go hiking or lounging around the house!
According to Meghan she was very eager to get to call Kyle my husband and definitely dropped plenty of hints. They went out for a nice dinner for their two-year anniversary the Saturday before that actual anniversary date. Meghan said, “I can’t lie, I was hopeful it would be the day.” Well, it was not.
Instead, she had to wait just a little bit longer. As was their tradition of having a night at home on their anniversary every year, Meghan and Kyle planned on making homemade pizzas Meghan came home from work to find Kyle making the dough and prepping ingredients and the house was a little messy. She left for a quick workout at the gym and walked into a beautifully decorated dining room, clean space, and Kyle dressed to the nines. He handed Meghan a card and some self-engraved locks (they have a fence where people place locks in Augusta that the couple found when they first moved here). While reading, Meghan didn’t even notice Kyle had slipped away and looked over to find him on one knee. He thought it was so important to propose in the home they had built the beginning of their lives together!
The couple envisioned a wedding that would be simple, timeless, and romantic with the biggest focus being on the love felt throughout. Meghan and Kyle’s color palette is a lot of black and white with simple decor and a splash of greenery/eucalyptus to bring a touch of softness to the space.
The bouquets and floral decor were a mixture of white flowers with a touch of greenery and eucalyptus. For our wedding favors, Meghan and Kyle provided scratch-off tickets to honor Meghan’s love a “good gamble” and five Jordan almonds to pay homage to Kyle’s Italian heritage and the tradition of their meaning for the couple (wishes of love, health, happiness, fertility, and long life together).
The chocolate cake was made with mocha cream and chocolate ganache filling. Accompanying the cake, were assorted mini-desserts. For a late-night snack, the couple chose one of their Milwaukee favorites, La Masa Empanadas in assorted flavors. They couldn’t wait to share all of their favorite things with their most favorite people!
The guest book was six different wine bottles – to open, reminisce, and celebrate on milestone anniversaries throughout our marriage (1st, 2nd, 5th, 10th, 25th, 50th). Meghan and Kyle also had a signature cocktail that honored their fur babies. Meghan included a piece of her grandfather’s shirt wrapped around her bouquet (something borrowed, something blue, and something to include him as he passed away in July of this year).
“There are going to be small details that seem so overwhelmingly significant and difficult to choose. When you are stuck in a vicious circle of small details, take a step back and spend a date night with your partner – it helps to spend a night remembering what getting married is really all about!” -Meghan + Kyle
Huge thank you to all of the amazing wedding vendors that made Meghan and Kyle’s day run seamlessly. Congratulations Meghan and Kyle on the start of your next great adventure 🙂

WOW – Just wow! My husband and I planned our Milwaukee wedding from Georgia and choosing a photographer from afar seemed so overwhelming. We wanted someone who would capture more than just posed images on our wedding day.
From my first meeting with Ali, I knew she was someone who genuinely cared to show love through her photography and made me feel so comfortable that she could provide everything I wanted. Throughout the planning process, Ali was so flexible, easy to communicate with, and proactive to ensure our wedding vision came to fruition on our big day.
Let me tell you – WE ARE SO OVERWHELMED AND OVERJOYED by our experience. Ali fit in so well on our wedding day and made picture-taking so fun and easy! The turnaround time to get our pictures back was unreal. The amount of happiness and joy we see in our pictures is exactly what we wanted – they look so beautiful and feel so natural, I am obsessed. Thank you for everything
