Meghan and Kyle were wed on November 4th with a ceremony and reception at The Factory on Barclay in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Meet Meghan + Kyle

Meghan describes herself as organized, goofy, playful, and competitive. Kyle is grounded, loving, active, and sensitive.

The couple met when Meghan lived with one of Kyle’s friends during pharmacy school. Kyle visited Madison for football games. Meghan moved to Milwaukee for pharmacy school and reached out to Kyle. They became best friends, and their friendship sparked a romance.

Together, the couple loves to hang out with their dog, Brewer, and go hiking or lounging around the house.

The Proposal

Meghan was eager to call Kyle her husband and dropped plenty of hints. They went out for dinner on their anniversary. Meghan was hopeful the proposal would happen then, but it didn’t.

Instead, they made homemade pizzas. Meghan left for a workout and returned to a clean, decorated dining room. Kyle was dressed up, holding a card and engraved locks. He slipped away, and Meghan looked up to find him on one knee. He wanted to propose in the home they had built together.

Wedding Vision & Planning

The couple envisioned a simple, timeless, romantic wedding with a focus on love. Their color palette was black, white, and greenery.

All in the Details

The bouquets and decor had white flowers, greenery, and eucalyptus. For wedding favors, they gave scratch-off tickets and five Jordan almonds. The almonds symbolized love, health, happiness, fertility, and long life.

The chocolate cake had mocha cream and chocolate ganache filling. Assorted mini desserts were also served. For a late-night snack, they chose La Masa Empanadas, a Milwaukee favorite.

DIY Elements

The guest book was six wine bottles to open on milestone anniversaries. They had a signature cocktail honoring their fur babies. Meghan also included a piece of her grandfather’s shirt around her bouquet.
