Caitlin and Brendan’s wedding at The Loft on Broadway blended timeless elegance with city charm, and their adventurous spirit made the whole day a joy to photograph. With historic streets, waterfront views, and heartfelt moments woven throughout, it was a celebration to remember.

Meet Caitlin + Brendan

Caitlin and Brendan first crossed paths at a birthday party—where, fun fact, neither of them knew the birthday girl! From that unexpected start, something special grew. Caitlin works as a physical therapist in St. Louis, and Brendan is a defense attorney with a talent for storytelling. His wild court stories keep everyone entertained, and Caitlin’s calm, grounded energy is the perfect match.

Together, they’re a balance of bold and steady—one of those couples you can’t help but root for.

The Proposal

Brendan proposed in June at the Missouri Botanical Gardens, the site of one of their first dates. It was a full-circle moment that turned into an unforgettable day. He surprised Caitlin with a proposal, then brought in both their families to celebrate.

Despite admitting he’s not the world’s most organized planner, Brendan created a detailed schedule—down to 15-minute intervals! Caitlin was overwhelmed (in the best way) and said it was one of the happiest days of her life.

A Milwaukee Wedding with City Charm

Caitlin and Brendan were married on October 8th at The Loft on Broadway, a venue known for its industrial beauty, exposed brick, and high ceilings. It set the tone perfectly for a day that felt modern, romantic, and full of energy.

Before the ceremony, we took them on a photo adventure around the city. We explored Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward, wandered the Riverwalk, and headed to Lake Park. Finally we ended at favorite spot of mine on Lake Michigan for waterfront portraits with the skyline in the background. These fun, relaxed photos are a favorite of ours—giving couples a moment to breathe and enjoy while we capture a mix of candid and classic images.

Back at the venue, Caitlin and Brendan exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends. The Loft’s blend of modern and industrial elements echoed their personalities—refined yet down-to-earth. The reception brought laughter, heartfelt toasts, and a packed dance floor as the night went on.

Every detail, from the decor to the way they looked at each other, reflected a love that’s steady, joyful, and built to last.
