Historic Wedding Venue Located in the Heart of the Original Pabst Brewery

Best Place is quintessentially Milwaukee. It is located in the original corporate headquarters of the Pabst Brewery in downtown Milwaukee. This historic venue boasts two unique event halls both built in the 1800s. Best Place hosts hundreds of events every year, mostly consisting of amazing weddings.

HISTORY OF PABST BEST PLACE

The history of the property and the owners could be written into a book. For the sake of brevity, we can say that the place oozes history. The building that Best Place occupies was built in 1858! It was originally a schoolhouse and is now the oldest surviving structure of the Milwaukee Public School system. The owners are Milwaukee natives, and their mission is to preserve the history and honor the legacy of the Pabst Brewery.

PABST BEST PLACE EVENT SPACES

Best Place’s ideal client is looking for a unique venue to host a very fun event. It also helps if they enjoy beer and beer history. Best Place best cater to weddings that appreciate the “family-run” style of business. Best Place is not a big corporate entity, it’s a small “mom and pop” kind of place. Best Place has two main event halls, The Great Hall and Blue Ribbon Hall.

“The Best Place at the Pabst truly was the best place to have our wedding! Because we had a lot of out-of-town guests, we opted to combine our ceremony and reception location in the Great Hall. We knew from the first tour we wanted to get married here – it gives the perfect historic, old Milwaukee feels with beautiful hardwood and windows throughout (so the decor was minimal!). Sarah was very helpful in answering all our questions and helping to make sure that the day ran smoothly. They were also very accommodating with our additions of hours and a small stage for the ceremony. PLANNING YOUR WEDDING DAY

Best Place has a great list of approved caterers that are allowed to work at Best Place. Best Place is open to working with all other vendors.

The rental fee includes more than most venues: all the tables and chairs, full bar capability, bartenders, water station, room set up*, A/V, projector, screen, microphones, podiums, not to mention the historic event spaces themselves. They break from the industry standard of charging small fees for each of these amenities. They do have a very unique add-on available: Our Beer History Tour!

Best Place is located in The Brewery District, which consists of many unique businesses located in the original Pabst Brewery. Best Place is also located just a few blocks from the Entertainment District and The Deer District in downtown Milwaukee, which both offer many points of interest.
