MEET ANASTASIA + CALEB

Both Anastasia and Caleb are outgoing, but they prefer to keep personal expressions of love to each other. However, Anastasia and Caleb are easy to talk to and very welcoming people! Anastasia and Caleb met on Facebook while Anastasia went to school in Colorado. Caleb and Anastasia went to high school together but had never spoken to each other before.

THE PROPOSAL

Caleb proposed to Anastasia on the top of Long’s Peak. Anastasia had been wanting to hike this since she moved to Colorado years ago. The couple finally decided to do it! So they flew out for a short weekend trip to hike, and at the top, Caleb proposed!

WEDDING VISION & PLANNING

The couple envisioned their wedding to be a day filled with their closest friends and family – local, to-the-point, and a fun night! They choose mostly white, gray, neutrals to create a natural-looking color scheme.

ALL IN THE DETAILS

Anastasia wanted her flowers to be real and from a local farm. She went with white because she don’t really have a color theme, and wanted it to look natural and rustic with the barn! The same thought process went for her favors and cupcakes – she wanted them to be made local. The favors are homemade jam made by Anastasia and her mother-in-law. The cupcakes are made by one of the couple’s best friends. The bridal gown was picked out from a small boutique in Western WI (close to her family’s hunting land). Anastasia wanted the gown to have details, be fitted, and have lace but without the “bling”.

DIY ELEMENTS

The barn where Anastasia and Caleb’s reception took place is on Caleb’s parent’s farm. It has been in the family for generations. Although it’s still used for hay, the couple renovated the interior, added lighting and electrical, and turned it into something special for everyone.
