ENGAGEMENT PICTURES IN MILWAUKEE
Courtney and John wanted to hold their engagement pictures in Milwaukee because of the gorgeous lake views and cityscapes. This made downtown Milwaukee the perfect place!
MEET COURTNEY + JOHN
Courtney is a seventh-grade English language arts teacher, and Josh is a historical director of operations for a seasonal museum in Door County. The couple met on Bumble, and have been together since.
THE PROPOSAL
John pulled off quite the production when proposing to Courtney. He knew she loved Disney, and wanted to incorporate the movie Aladdin into his proposal. John coordinated Courtney’s “winning” of a salon package for her hair and makeup on the same weekend he was pretending to leave for a guys trip.
While Courtney was being pampered, John coordinated their family and friends and even their puppy into the perfect proposal. As Courtney came home, she found her pup was dressed like the Genie from Aladdin. When Courtney followed the puppy out onto the deck the song “A Whole New World” began to play, and she found John next to a replica of the magic carpet holding a ring in a magic lamp. Everyone in the family started to cry as John proposed to Courtney, and she accepted!
VENUE WEDDING PLANNING
Courtney and John are planning their May wedding at the gorgeous Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. They liked the vibe of having their wedding in a ballroom instead of a conference center, and absolutely loved The Osthoff Resort’s beautiful grounds!
They are excited to include family and friends to celebrate the start of their marriage!
