Julia + Ben’s The Manor at Pinehurst Farm’s Wedding | Sheboygan Falls, WI

July 29, 2023 || Wedding at The Manor at Pinehurst Farms

Julia and Ben created a beautiful day filled with timeless details and personal touches, making it one of the most unforgettable celebrations.

A Simple and Elegant Wedding Vision

Before planning, Julia and Ben envisioned a wedding that was simple, elegant, and timeless. Their goal was to create a day that was both beautiful and effortless, focusing on what mattered most—their love and commitment to each other.

Color Palette and Style

Julia chose light, summer-inspired colors to complement the season. Greenery and pale-colored flowers were a perfect choice to bring the vision to life. The combination of greenery and soft florals created a calm, peaceful atmosphere that felt natural and welcoming.

Floral Touches and Personal Details

Flowers played a key role in the couple’s wedding day. Julia kept it simple with greenery and roses for the ceremony and reception. Her bouquet featured soft blooms, while her bridesmaids carried hydrangeas. A personal touch came from Julia’s Maid of Honor, who crafted the bridal arrangements and boutonnieres herself!

For wedding favors, the couple chose personalized matchbooks. With Ben being a cigar enthusiast, the matches felt like the perfect nod to a traditional supper club vibe. The couple’s wedding cake was a sweet tribute to their favorite dessert—cheesecake, ordered from Simma’s Bakery in Wauwatosa, where Julia had fond childhood memories of visiting.

The Perfect Dress

Julia’s gown was not what she initially expected. She had envisioned something with lace and sleeves but fell in love with the dress she ended up choosing. When she tried it on, she knew it was the one. It made her feel absolutely beautiful and elegant—a perfect fit for the classic wedding she had always dreamed of.

DIY Details and Personal Touches

The couple added several DIY touches to their wedding day, making it even more meaningful. All the flowers, including the bouquets and boutonnieres, were hand-crafted. The couple also bought garlands to decorate the reception space and sweetheart table, enhancing the natural beauty of the venue.

Advice to Other Couples

Julia’s advice to other couples planning their wedding? “Try to enjoy the process, even though it is really hard! At the end of the day, you’re marrying your best friend and soulmate—that’s what matters most. Seating charts, hotel blocks, and decorations are nothing in comparison to starting your lives together and celebrating your love.”

Overall, Julia and Ben’s wedding was a beautiful celebration of love, elegance, and personal touches.
