MEET ANGELA + RYAN

Angela and Ryan met through a mutual friend. They were instantly drawn to one another. Since the day Angela and Ryan met they have been inseparable! Sharing a vision of what their future will look like including making their house a home.

Angela and Ryan are a loving couple. Ryan works as a police officer for the Greendale Police Department, while Angela is a service representative for Aurora.

On their days off they enjoy family activities with their adorable son Liam. Most of the time this includes enjoying a bottle of wine, cuddling up with Liam and watching movie,s or enjoying a competitive family game of Uno.

Ryan knew Angela wanted to be proposed to at the couple’s home because it was where they began their life together. When Angela walked into the house from work, Ryan had set up two glasses with a bottle of champagne and was holding a bouquet of flowers. Ryan was already down on one knew and said, “Let’s do this!”

WISCONSIN WEDDING PLANNING

Angela and Ryan knew they wanted their wedding to be intimate, romantic, and have a rustic feel. They both wanted to make sure Sugar Island Barn was decorated from wall to wall with things they made and put together.

SUGAR ISLAND BARN WEDDING

Ryan and Angela’s favorite moment of the day was when they saw each other for the first time as Angela walked down the aisle. It was a moment they were waiting for, for a long time and will never forget.

“After the ceremony, walking into Sugar Island Barn wedding with all the candles and uplighting lit just felt intimate and romantic. I was so excited to share it with all of our guests. Sitting at the head table next to the love of my life while watching everyone enjoy themselves was so special and to think we did this all during a pandemic was absolutely incredible. From start to finish Ryan and I wouldn’t have changed a thing.”

ANGELA + RYAN’S ADVICE TO OTHER BRIDES AND GROOMS

Angela and Ryan’s advice to other couples is to follow through with your visio. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity to marry someone you love, and making it your type of perfect. It is so priceless to be able to look back on. All the hard work and planning that goes into your wedding day is absolutely worth it in the end.
