Q: What should I wear?
A: Clothing is a great way to show your sense of style! Your family will look best in clothing WITHOUT logos or neon colors. It’s a great idea to start by picking out a combination of three colors for your entire family to wear. One of these should be neutral such as black, grey, blue, or white. Clothing that has a texture does a great job in adding dimension, and layers can be very flattering. The clothing you pick should be comfortable, so your kids aren’t grumpy because they are uncomfortable. I highly recommend only one person wearing a pattern, unless the patterns are intentionally made to match each other.
Q: How many outfits can I wear?
A: Most often families choose to wear only one outfit because changing children in the middle of a session can be difficult. However, it can be done! Just remember that time spent changing outfits is time we are not shooting.
Q: Where should I have my session?
A: I have a bunch of favorite portrait locations around Washington County. I am happy to chat with you, and find the perfect location for your family!
Q: What kind of equipment do you use?
A: This might start getting a bit technical, but I personally use a Nikon D750 and D850 with a variety of lenses and off-camera lighting.
Q: Do you offer any albums, prints, canvases, etc?
A: Totally! But I want you feeling 1,000% comfortable and excited about the quality of your photographs before placing orders on those. That way, you only order exactly what you want, when you want, and when you know with confidence that they are going to look amazing on your walls and in your fine art heirloom albums. Most of this is done and ordered right through your online gallery!
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes, I do! Traditional an initial payment of $150 is due at the time of booking (within a week) and the final payment at your session. But, if you wanted to do the payment plan, I can stretch it into equal 1/3’s or 1/4’s if that works best for you. Just let me know what you prefer, and I will make it happen. It’s that easy.

A: Love that question the most! To book me for your family pictures, simply let me know what you want to be included in your custom collection:
