Jasmyn and Brandon meet through a cousin who insisted she must meet and marry Brandon. Jasmyn was skeptical but agreed to add him as a friend on Facebook. A week later, Brandon asked Jasmyn out to dinner and a movie. By the end of the night, the couple had talked for hours and felt they had known each other forever.
Brandon INSISTED the Jasmyn take off work for his Mom’s visit from Arizona. He was so extremely adamant that, Jasmyn know something must be up.
Brandon and Jasmyn walked with Brandon’s mom around the park, and as they rounded a corner away from the crowd of people he got down on one knee.
Jasmyn said she was waiting for the joke and was in such disbelief that when he opened the ring box (upside down) the first thing she said was NO!
The couple went back and forth, with Brandon trying to convince Jasmyn that he was really proposing! Jasmyn answered yes eight or nine times before Brandon finally slipped the ring on her finger.
Many tears of joy were spilt!
Jasmyn and Brandon are the definition of a perseverant couple. When COVID-19 drastically altered their wedding plans, Jasmyn and Brandon made lemonade out of lemons by holding a small intimate wedding ceremony in May 2020 and a larger celebration this June.
In working with Brandon and Jasmyn, I have seen their love and caring for one another as well as their ability to laugh and cry together through thick and thin.
Jasmyn dreamed of a light and airy wedding vibe and used the colors light purple and darker greens to make her dreams come true.
When it comes to cake, Jasmyn and Brandon wanted something easy. They decided on a small cutting cake for the wedding table and a sheet cake (or cupcakes) for the guests.
Jasmyn dreamed of her wedding with a natural feeling, so wildflowers were the perfect choice for her bouquet.
While Jasmyn never had a “this is the dress” moment until she completely altered the look of her dress. She changed the neckline, sleeves, waist, and color!. Now she absolutely loves it!
Jasmyn and Brandon consider themselves quite nerdy. They love Marvel and incorporated songs from Guardians of the Galaxy and Iron Man into different parts of their wedding day.
Jasmyn and Brandon had a gorgeous sunny day for their vow renewal and wedding celebration! After planning three weddings together, it was an amazing feeling to be able to celebrate with Jasmyn and Brandon!
Weddings are expensive but sure to spend money on your photographer and DJ because that is how you and your guests will remember the night. Those photos will be with you forever!
She also highly recommended staying organized with a wedding planning binder or apps such as The Knot and Pinterest, having a finite guest list that is budget-friendly, checking with friends and family for leftover wedding decor, and finally and most importantly HAVING FUN. Relaxing. Breathing.
Your partner is there for you, and they want to be included in the decisions. So instead of an argument about head table decor, decide over a game of Mario Cart. You are marrying the love of your life, and at the end of the day, the love you share is more important than the wedding.
Huge thank you to all of the amazing wedding vendors that made Jasmyn and Brandon’s day run seamlessly. Congratulations Jasmyn and Brandon on the start of your next great adventure 🙂

“Ali’s amazing energy and excitement calmed my nerves and made me even more excited (which I didn’t know was possible)! She was so organized and able to adapt so quickly to change that I felt like I didn’t need to be in control the entire time.
The experience was absolutely worth it! From our first Skype meeting, I knew Ali was the photographer I wanted to book. We vibed so well together. Her enthusiasm and support throughout everything were exactly what Brandon and I needed.”
