Amanda and Kyle were wed on January 28th, 2023 with a ceremony at St. John’s Vianney Catholic Parish in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and held a reception at Twelve29 in Sussex, Wisconsin.
Kyle and Amanda describe themselves as easy-going, serious when necessary, generally outgoing, and always tired from lack of sleep (especially with all the wedding planning). They originally met at a wedding and shared a love of sporting events. Before they knew it, they had started dating and the rest is history!
Kyle prosed to Amanda on the fourth anniversary of their first date. At “The Calling” statue near the Milwaukee Art Museum.
The couple wanted to create a timeless look for their special day and chose an evergreen and navy blue color palette as the backdrop for their wedding. Let’s take a closer look at all the little details that went into making this special day perfect.
Flowers: The flowers for Amanda and Kyle’s wedding were sourced from Windsong Designs. For the bride, the bouquet was made of cascading white florals with greenery around the outside. Meanwhile, the bridesmaids had simple bouquets of white roses with accents of greenery. The groom had a boutonniere with white flowers while his groomsmen had navy blue ones.
Gowns & Suits: The bride wore a stunning Morilee gown purchased from Eva’s Bridal Center that featured a lace high neckline with a simple chiffon bottom. As for the groom, he wore a navy blue suit with an evergreen tie to match his groomsmen who also wore navy suits and evergreen ties.
Favors & Cake: Guests were given small terrariums filled with succulents as favors from Lannon Gardens. For dessert, there was an elegant three-layer cake decorated with white frosting and navy blue ribbon around each layer to match the wedding colors perfectly!
Amanda and Kyle have put a lot of thought into the details of their wedding from choosing the perfect florist to selecting the best caterer. They also wanted to incorporate some DIY elements into their special day. They made custom table centerpieces for each table. These details added that personal touch while highlighting the clean, simple look of Twelve29.
Along with all the fun aspects of planning a wedding, there can be a lot of stress involved too. That’s why Amanda and Kyle recommend taking time for yourselves during wedding planning. Scheduling time together where you can do things you both enjoy will help keep the stress from wedding planning from becoming overwhelming. It’s also important to remember that this is your day; don’t let anyone else try and dictate how your big day should be planned or look!
Huge thank you to all of the amazing wedding vendors that made Amanda and Kyle’s day run seamlessly. Congratulations Amanda and Kyle on the start of your next great adventure 🙂
