WEDDING AT THE FLORIAN

Michelle and Keith were wed on October 9, 2022, with a ceremony and reception at The Florian in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

MEET MICHELLE + KEITH

Michelle describes herself as outgoing, fun, and family-focused. While Keith is a bit of an introvert, funny, and casual. The couple attended high school together, but didn’t start dating until they were in our 40s. They met again years later online. Together the couple enjoys creating memories by doing everything they can together. This includes planning trips and vacations – even if it is just a weekend getaway.

WEDDING VISION & PLANNING

The wedding vision for this gorgeous fall day was intimate and romantic. Michelle and Keith wanted something simple where their family and friends gather and celebrate their love with them. The color pallet includes wine with soft uplighting near the tables.

ALL IN THE DETAILS

Keith and Michelle decided against favors or cake. Instead they choose mini cupcakes that will be on a cake stand at every table. The couple’s flowers will be peonies with wine color accents mixed in. The flowers were chosen to accent, but not overpower Michelle’s gown. Her wedding dress is satin, with details on the top and a full skirt bottom.

DIY ELEMENTS

Michelle is decorating the cake stands with silk flower petals of wine and white in color. They are also making a time capsule. Parents and grandparents wrote a note to the couple for them to read on their first anniversary. The couple was very excited to do this planning with their family, they also made sure to pay tribute to those family members that have passed; including Michelle’s mother and best friend. As part of the ceremony, the officiant read the names of those loved and requested that they join the couple in spirit as they committed themselves to each other and celebrated their love.

ADVICE TO OTHER BRIDES
