Amy and Max were wed on September 3rd with a ceremony at Holy Apostles Catholic Church and reception at the New Berlin Ale House in New Berlin, Wisconsin.
Amy and Max came into wedding planning without a vision. They just wanted it to be a reflection of them, practical and focused on experience rather than the setting. Their color palette was navy blue, tangerine, and peach.
Amy picked her gown, veil, and bridesmaid dresses from Savvy Bride. They were supportive in the decision-making process and offered many options. Amy loved that she was able to customize the dress to be exactly what she wanted for the day.
One of the unique elements includes bowling between the ceremony and reception. Another unique element is Max and Amy’s favors. They created a candy table where guests can select different types of candy and make their own to-go bags. The couple designed their own save-the-date and invitation cards using Microsoft Word and got them printed at Walmart. They also designed their own centerpieces with items from family mixed with some additional items they found online.
“You will be very busy at the start and at the end of planning. During that middle period where not much is due, try to do as much preparation as possible to take some stress out of the final planning.” – Amy + Max
Huge thank you to all of the amazing wedding vendors that made Amy and Max’s day run seamlessly. Congratulations Amy and Max on the start of your next great adventure 🙂
