WEDDING AT THE BOWERY

Regina and Michael were wed on February 3rd with a ceremony and reception at The Bowery in Rubicon, Wisconsin.

MEET REGINA + MICHAEL

Regina is energetic and fun, while Michael is a little more conservative and laid back. Once he knows you, he breaks out and is more extroverted.

Regina remembers the exact date she met Michael. It was September 23, 2013. Regina was his waitress at the Cheesecake Factory in Wauwatosa. She had just moved back home from Arizona and picked up a morning shift to get re-acclimated. Michael was her first table of the day. He was out to lunch with his mom for her birthday and he left his number with a really big tip LOL. Regina texted him after work and the rest is history.

Together with their daughter Rosalie, this adorable family loves making memories together. They love traveling, going to concerts, and just recently joined a summer volleyball league. Michael proposed to Regina last Christmas!

WEDDING VISION & PLANNING

Michael and Regina were hoping for a destination wedding in 2023 but given the ongoing pandemic, they shifted their vision to a small gathering of family and friends at The Bowery. Their aesthetic is farmhouse rustic meets modern with a color palette of black, ivory, and rose gold.

ALL IN THE DETAILS

Regina’s gown has been compared to a Greek goddess style with a tight-fitting lace accented top, and flowy slit in the skirt. The couple selected chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with a super small cake for just the two of them.

DIY ELEMENTS

The couple created a “Bucket List” to capture their guests. Each guest will include an idea for an adventure or date that Regina and Michael will complete during their lifetime together.

ADVICE TO OTHER BRIDES

“Invest in a great photographer and not in everything else. Keep it simple for less stress. This day isn’t for anyone else but you and your groom. So many brides I know care too much about the guests’ accommodations. I went the other way. I care about us and whether or not we’ll enjoy ourselves.” -Regina
