Brittany and Austin met at college, in southern Illinois. According to Brittany, she is outspoken and direct while Austin is more on the shy side. Together they love to do outdoor things such as fishing, hiking, and walking their dog around lakes. Austin proposed at Navy Pier in Chicago, Illinois during Valentine’s Day weekend.
Brittany and Austin originally envisioned their wedding as a classic and traditional event held on the beach. Unfortunately, due to unseen circumstances, COVID plans changed and they are holding their beautiful wedding at The Swan Barn Door in Wisconsin Dell, Wisconsin. It included the colors wine, silver, and black and had a mainly traditional vibe with a little southern flair.
The wedding colors of burgundy are found throughout the wedding details. Brittany and Austin’s flowers were simple, classic, and stunning. They filled geometric terrariums on each guest table. Matching geometric patterned name cards and table numbers were created by Brittany and Austin!
Brittany’s elegant fit and flare gown with interchangeable straps and lace fit her like a glove! Guests were given fun “take a shot we tied the knot” shot glasses as a wedding favor!
Brittany’s advice to other couples is to, “not go with the current trends, if you like something go with it! Remember it is about what you and your new spouse want and feel comfortable with. Expect the unexpected, you cannot predict everything that will happen. No matter what, relax & enjoy your day!”
Huge thank you to all of the amazing wedding vendors that made Brittany and Austin’s day run seamlessly. Congratulations Brittany and Austin on the start of your next great adventure 🙂

Ali is amazing and helped take so much stress and anxiety away from me. Our venue closed three months before our wedding day, and to Wisconsin from Illinois, which meant we needed a new photographer. Ali’s work was amazing, and we instantly knew we wanted to work with her.
Ali was in constant communication with us, knew what happened, and did everything she could to help. She even offered to help us find new vendors. She was so friendly and easygoing.
Ali and her second photographer, Katie, were the greatest. They made every so stress-free and fun and enjoyable. Austin and I didn’t feel like we had to force anything and felt extremely comfortable around them. Thank you so much!
