At your family pictures, you might notice I have quite a few pieces of gear that I utilize to capture your gorgeous family portraits!

Camera

Lenses

Depending on the size and lighting of our portrait location, I typically choose one of these two favorite lenses.

Off-Camera Flash

Whenever possible, a mix of natural light and off-camera flash is my preferred lighting style. I use off-camera flash as a gorgeous fill flash! And towards sunset pump up the power for a dramatic portrait.

On-Camera Flash

Are your little ones on the go and pretty much non-stop exploring? On-camera flash is the perfect lighting solution because it attached right to my camera. This way there is no need to continually reposition a light and light stand.

Light Modifiers

Flash lighting can be very harsh and unflattering if not used and modified correctly. The following items ensure beautifully lit portraits.
