Mary + Joe’s Winter Red Circle Inn Wedding | Nashotah, WI

MEET MARY + JOE

Mary is a very positive and kind-hearted person who believes in rainbows, lucky stars, and happily ever after. Even though Mary is a self proclaims “homebody,” she loves learning and exploring too! Joe is charming and can strike up a conversation with anyone. He describes his personality as “awesome,” but also a realist.

These two love birds met through the “magic of the interwebs!” And I am so thankful that they did!

THE PROPOSAL

After talking about getting married, and even going ring shopping together Joe took Mary out to dinner at the Golden Mast in Nashotah. Mary said that although she knew he was going to propose at some point, “it was torture waiting!”

WEDDING VISION & PLANNING

Mary and Joe knew they wanted an intimate affair with their closest family. They choose burgundy and gold for a color pallet and planned an intimate wedding at Red Circle Inn in Nashotah, Wisconsin to match their classic elegant wedding vision.

RED CIRCLE INN WEDDING

Mary and Joe’s Red Circle Inn wedding was perfect! Even though it was an intimate gathering of 30 people, Mary and Joe had an amazing day! They laugh about Mary’s hands shaking through the vows, and loved slow dancing at the end of the night, not wanting the day to end. Mary and Joe were also thrilled to have their first dance choreography going perfectly.

ALL IN THE DETAILS

Mary’s beautiful wedding gown was an off the shoulder sweetheart neckline, with a lace overlay and pockets! Its A-line design included a train and full-length sleeves. A perfect choice for this winter wedding.

Mary stated, “I felt like Elsa in it! This was confirmed when face-timing with my sister. Her 4-year old son asked who the princess was on the phone. That was it, it was the one.”

Roses and stargazer lilies make up Mary and Joe’s flower arrangements, bouquets, and boutonnieres.

For their delicious two-tiered cake, Mary and Joe chose two separate flavors: mint chocolate and white velvet with buttercream frosting. The couple also served Valhalla Brownies (for extra chocolatey goodness).

DIY ELEMENTS

While Mary and Joe state they didn’t have many do-it-yourself elements because they lack the time and talent, Joe did create a trivia game based on their relationship for the reception.

ADVICE TO OTHER BRIDES

Plan to be over your original budget. Everything is more expensive than you “think.” You and your fiance’s opinion is the most important. Do what makes you both happy, the rest should be happy you are happy.

KIND WORDS FROM THE BRIDE + GROOM

“We wanted to find someone trustworthy and organized. Ali set out worries at ease with her consistent communication and attention to detail. Our engagement session really made me feel like we made the right decision. We would absolutely recommend Ali to friends and family. I would absolutely tell people it’s a worthwhile investment.”
