Casey is a senior at Hartford Union High School. This quiet and kind-spirited young lady plays on the Hartford Orioles girls volleyball team. As I photographed Casey’s senior pictures at Lion’s Den Gorge in Grafton, I learned not only is humble, but fun-loving!
Casey’s senior pictures took place at two different locations, which I think gave us the best of both worlds! Especially since we were attempting to dodge multiple storm fronts throughout her senior session.
For the first half of Casey’s senior photos, we ventured to Lion’s Den Gorge Nature Preserve in Grafton, WI. This stunning park offers beautiful trees, a boardwalk, and a cliff overlooking Lake Michigan. While I don’t normally think that Wisconsin often looks tropical, the mix of storm fronts and warm weather created the perfect sky for our evening session.
We traveled back to Hartford to capture a few of the downtown lights in Casey’s night time senior photos. We borrowed the window displays of Scoop Deville, Faith & Giggles as well as other adorable downtown buildings. With the help of Casey’s mom, we were even able to coordinate a quick and SAFE photo in the crosswalk of Main Street.
Casey plans to tour a few out of state colleges before she commits to one for next year, but is excited for what the future holds. Good luck Casey!
Ali is a super talented, creative, and fun photographer to work with!
Our senior picture session was on the verge of getting rained out, yet Ali turned the negative into a positive-the pictures were absolutely stunning with the storm clouds rolling in.
Ali makes you feel comfortable and uses her creativity’s talent to ensure your session and pictures are unique to each client. I highly recommend her; besides getting beautiful pictures, she was so easy to work with!
