Milwaukee Family Photographer Session at Richfield Historical Society

I absolutely love photographing Casey and Mike’s adorable family! I first met this amazing family when I photographed their newborn baby girl, Emmy. Jack was such an excited and spunky big brother. He made my heart instantly melt! I was so excited to also be their Milwaukee family photographer this year.

When Casey and Mike asked for family session location ideas, I instantly thought of Richfield Historical Society. It is one of my favorite locations for many reasons, just one of which is the amount of variety that this small park offers. It’s the perfect place for family photos, especially for families with young kids who love to run and jump!

As it turns out I was right! Jack has not changed one bit and was a ton of fun to photograph. Add-in, the now walking, Emmy, and this session was bound to be adorable. Jack and Emmy loved adventuring around the park as we periodically stopped to play a game, have a tickle fight, or give me their cheesiest smile.

The resulting images from this session are among my absolute favorite because they not only contain beautiful family portraits, but also candids that capture the loving interactions of this fun-loving family.

I didn’t want our family photos to look “canned,” and not match my family’s personality. I was also worried that my kids wouldn’t cooperate, and we wouldn’t get a good picture.

Ali got great images of my family! There were wonderful candid shots, and she had ways of making my kids look at the camera/laugh. Ali was also able to edit pictures when my daughter’s diaper was showing, which saved a great photo!

We got adorable pictures! Ali is very personable and made the experience very enjoyable. It was like you were taking pictures with a friend!
